Located 4 miles southwest of Lakeland's downtown area, Lakeland Linder Regional is an ideal choice for pilots and travelers. Our Runway 9/27 is 8,500 ft long and can handle most aircraft available today. While Runway 5/23 is 5,000 ft long and is our precision runway for our users of the ILS.
The Lakeland Linder Regional Airport is owned and operated by the City of Lakeland, which is governed by a seven-member board; the Mayor of the City of Lakeland, and six other members who are elected by the constituency.
The airport is managed by the Airport Director, who reports to the City Manager.
